Elk at our campsite!A gorgeous day on the southern Oregon coast with very little traffic for Labor Day just a few days ahead. We had a real "stroke of luck" when we left Hwy 101 and drove down to check out one of our all time favorite spots..Arizona Beach! No longer a private venue with a Motel and campground on the beach it is now a private motel and the beach is now an Oregon State Parks day use area with no camping. The owner of the motel has a few R.V. spaces on the lawn near the motel ....we rented a space with hook-ups from him and drove the 1/4 mile to our own private beach.....no one knows about the change and it "looks" closed...wow we love this!!
