Indain Campground ..Buffalo, Wyoming
We will arrive in Jelm this evening after a nice trip starting on August 12, 2008.
First stop was at Becky, Conor and Doug's new house in Grand Junction, Colorado then on to the Williamson's in Minden, Nevada. A few days later we met the Foxley's with Rowan, Aidan and Brendan, Sara, Jim and Marcia with Tony and Troy and Susie and Phil for a four day get away on Nevada Beach at Lake Tahoe.
Then a gorgeous ten day drive up the Oregon and Washington coast with arrival at the Foxley farm in Arlington, Washington. It was a great visit with the Foxley's and Joe.
A nice drive over the Cascades and across central Washington, tiny bit of Idaho and central Montana left us last night at one of our favorite Wyoming R.V. camps here in Buffalo, Wyoming...Indain Campground! A pretty park set in huge old cottonwoods.

North Cascade National Park
North Cascade National Park is the United States least visited National Park with truly gorgeous mountains and forests...often called the "American Alps". This park features Washington Pass on highway 20 that crosses over the Cascade Mountains and is the northmost major highway going from west to east in the Pacific northwest. The highway follows the Skagit River untill it emptys into Puget Sound with enough fresh water to fill 1/3 of the sound. Along the drive are three dams that produce electricity for Seattle and surrounding areas.
